Industrial automation systems; manufacturing message specification; part 5: companion standard for programmable controllers (IEC 65B(Sec)187)
Abstract
The project applies to the communication between programmable controllers (PC) and other devices using the manufacturing message specification (MMS) defined in ISO/IEC 9506-1 and -2. It is thus a companion standard to them. It defines a PC-abstract syntax and provides specific services to application processes.
