Abstract

The project applies to passive optical components and optical elements and optical elements such as fusion splices, mechanical splices, connectors, patchcords, pig-tails and fan-outs, attenuators, wavelength-independent and wavelength-dependent branching devices, optical filters , isolators and circulators, terminators, passive dispersion compensators, the application to optical switches is under study.
