Draft IEC 61840: Gloves and mitts of insulating material for electrical purposes without protective cover
Abstract
The standard is applicable to unlined insulating gloves and mitts for use, without overgloves, when working live or close to live parts at a nominal voltage up to 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c..This standard does not specifiy any special properties for gloves to provide particular resistance to acid, oil or ozone.
