Abstract
The object of this part of IEC 61300 is to describe how to measure the lateral core offset (in micrometers) of each fibre of a fibre array (FA).The intend of the method is to give the geometrical contribution of a Fibre Array to the coupling between the FA and a Integrated Optical circuit or an optical system.
