Eye and face protection - Sunglasses and related eyewear - Part 1: Sunglasses for general use - Amendment 1
Abstract
This document applies to all non-prescription sunglasses (with zero lenses) and clip-on lenses for general use, including driving and road use, intended for protection against solar radiation. Appendix A provides information on the use of sun filters. Requirements for unmounted lenses used as replacement or interchangeable filters are given in Annex C. It does not apply to products for occupational eye protection. The responsible German body is the working committee NA 027-01-01 AA "Eye protection" in the standards committee for precision mechanics and optics (NAFuO) at DIN.
