Leather - Determination of the stress-strain behaviour during vaulting and bursting test
Abstract
The test is used to assess the stress-strain performance behavior of leather by determining the Arch height as a function of the hydrostatic pressure in the arch test up to a certain pressure as well as to assess the behavior of the dressing during stretching. The process can be used for all light leather. It can also be used for suede leather whose flesh side is sanded. The ground flesh side is then to be considered as the scars.
