Abstract
This standard applies to appliance sockets made of insulating material and metal for recessed installation to accommodate installation equipment in accordance with DIN 49200 and DIN 49440-5 as well as sockets in accordance with DIN 49445 and DIN EN 60309-2 (VDE 0623-2). Installation boxes (system-bound) for installation in device installation ducts according to DIN VDE 0604-2 (VDE 0604-2) are device installation units.
