Uninterruptible power systems (UPS) - Part 5-3: DC output UPS - Performance and test requirements
Abstract
The current edition of IEC 62040-5-3 have been mainly focus on performances and tests of DC-UPS for the ICT application (such as data centre) and does not consider the DC-UPS for other application such as O&G, Power Gen, Transmission & Distribution and Heavy Industrial markets. Those markets require a lot of DC UPS up to 600Vc from few kW to hundreds of kW and most of its are still specify SCR rectifiers.
