Overhead electrical lines exceeding 1 kV - Procedures and equipment for stringing of conductors - Part 100: Assembly prodecures and selection of equipment

Abstract

This preliminary standard applies to work on bare, isolated and earthed conductors in networks with a nominal voltage above 45 kV (AC and DC). It must also be taken into account for the voltage range above 1 kV (AC) and 1.5 kV (DC) if these lines are located in the area of influence of lines greater than 45 kV or use a common global earthing system. The following requirements are set out for equipment and machinery, as well as protective devices. Procedures for proper grounding are described to protect equipment, parts of installations, machinery and installation personnel from damage due to electrical interference or fault currents from neighboring circuits in operation.
