Indoor air - Part 10: Determination of the emission of volatile organic compounds from building products and furnishing - Emission test cell method (ISO 16000-10:2006); German version EN ISO 16000-10:2006

Abstract

The standard describes a method for the determination of volatile organic compounds emitted from building products and furnishings using an emission test cell. The aim is to provide manufacturers, construction companies and end users with emission data that is suitable for assessing the influence of building products on indoor air quality. The method is also suitable for on-site testing of building product surfaces. In the course of the revision, the aspect of heated surfaces (e.g. floorboards, etc. when using underfloor heating) will be included in the standard.
