Corporate Security - Requirements for strengthening the physical resilience of organizations

Abstract

This topic is currently available as a request for the development of a DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure. The request is currently being reviewed. DIN SPECs are developed by DIN SPEC consortia (temporary committees). The document will be drafted and approved by the authors who adopt the business plan. In particular, this document specifies requirements for structural, technical, personnel and organizational safety measures to protect the organization against incidents. The document is applicable regardless of the size and sector of the organization. This document defines different security levels or protection levels depending on the respective asset criticality and risk exposure. Occupational health and safety measures are not the subject of this document; it does not specify any requirements for the safety and health protection of employees. This document does not provide recommendations and requirements for the safety (in the sense of safety and security) of employees at work, as these are the responsibility of occupational health and safety.
