Abstract
This part of the international IEC 80601 series of standards supplements the general specifications on basic safety and the essential performance characteristics in IEC 60601-1+AMD 1 with special specifications relating to dental equipment. The latter include dental units, treatment chairs, handpieces and operating lights.
