Abstract

This document specifies test methods and documentation requirements for velocity-/rotation speed-dependent and velocity-/rotation speed-independent safeguardings against dropping for manually operated and power-operated industrial, commercial and garage doors and gates and barriers and for the construction characteristic for secure holding of door leaves by drive units in accordance with DIN EN 12604:2021-05 and DIN EN 12453:2022-08.
