This document applies to non motorized hand-held tools for using in soil or similar purposes, mainly in the house garden. This document also deals with hand-held tools designed for special purposes, e.g. in agriculture and forestry. It contains terms and definitions and determines the requirements for performance characteristics and its testing. It does not apply to small garden tools < 60 cm.
