Abstract

This document applies to the determination of the quality of optical remote sensing data based on multispectral aerial and satellite images produced by means of digital optical sensors (area or line scan cameras). These sensors must meet metrological requirements (radiometric and geometric). Active sensors (radar systems and laser scanners) are not considered in this document.
