Abstract

This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure has been drawn up by a DIN-SPEC-consortium set up on a temporary basis. This DIN SPEC has been developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This document defines requirements for the communication interface of an anti-theft device for heavy-duty semi-trailers with a central server. This document defines the protocol, the data formats, the type of information to be transmitted and the authentication process between the user, the anti-theft device and the management platform. This document is to be used for the development of anti-theft devices that are to be compatible with an open system.
