Overhead electrical lines exceeding 245 kV DC und 123 kV AC - Part 9: Hybrid AC/DC transmission and DC transmission

Abstract

This document applies to the planning and construction of high-voltage overhead lines with AC/DC hybrid arrangements, i. H. one or more AC circuits are arranged in parallel with one or more DC circuits in close proximity. It also applies to the planning and construction of DC high-voltage overhead lines. In this document, high-voltage overhead lines are understood to mean AC circuits with a maximum operating voltage of over 123 kV and DC circuits with a maximum operating voltage of over 245 kV. The configuration of the DC circuit (e.g. monopole, bipole) must be taken into account in particular when dimensioning the neutral conductor.
