Abstract
This document applies to hexagonal die inserts in mechanical or hydraulic presses, preferably for the crimping of electrical conductors. These crimping dies are mainly used in overhead line construction, but can also be used in cable construction. This standard only applies in connection with DIN 48083 Part 1 or Part 3.
