Abstract

This topic has been submitted as a request for the development of a DIN SPEC according to the PAS procedure. The application is currently being examined. DIN SPECs in accordance with the PAS procedure are developed within workshops set up on a temporary basis. This document will be developed and approved by the authors who will approve the business plan. This DIN SPEC specifies a process that describes the driver's procedure for the asynchronous handover of semitrailers in the encounter freight transport of the heavy goods sector. The entire handover process includes both the delivery process and the pick-up process. In addition to the definition of the process steps and responsibilities, the transmission of relevant information, such as vehicle and load data or status messages, between the drivers is described. Moreover the review of handover conditions is defined and handover documents and necessary checklists are considered. Measures are defined for troubleshooting in the event of disruptions in the handover process.
