Continuous handling equipment and systems - Safety and EMC requirements for equipment for mechanical handling of bulk materials except fixed belt conveyors
Abstract
This standard specifies relevant requirements of Annex I of the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for machinery placed on the market for the first time in the European Economic Area in order to facilitate the demonstration of conformity with these requirements. This standard addresses the technical requirements to minimise hazards. These hazards may arise during the operation and maintenance of continuous handling equipment designed to convey bulk material from the loading point(s) to the unloading point(s). It also applies to equipment installed in or attached to machinery. This standard deals with the technical requirements for electromagnetic compatibility.
