Asset Administration Shell for Industrial Applications - Part 2: Information meta model
Abstract
This part of IEC 63278 specifies the meta model of Asset Administration Shell (AAS). It specifies meta model entities defining how Submodel(s) are listed in an AAS; Submodel(s) resp. Submodel template(s) are structured; the purpose and the specific content of SubmodelElements resp. Submodel template elements is defined. The meta model therefore provides the basis for specifying Submodel templates, which guide the creation of Submodels; references to concept repository entries of concept repositories are defined; the AAS management information is defined; this includes how the association of an AAS to the asset is defined. This document is the basis for Part 5 defining the functions of the AAS interface.
