Abstract
This document is applicable for joints between taper external threads for pipe unions and screw plugs with adapter end type C according to DIN 3852-2, with parallel internal threads, receiving holes type Z according to DIN 3852-2.
Whitworth pipe threads for threaded pipes and fittings are specified in DIN EN 10226-1. This document is applicable for pipe threads with tapered adapter end type C according to DIN 3852-2, which are screwed into receiving holes type Z according to DIN 3852-2, with parallel internal Whitworth pipe threads in accordance with this document. Since tapered adapter ends type C according to DIN 3852-2 are available in two lengths, a regular and a short version, tolerance class 1 with upper and lower limit deviations for the position of the test plane (for the regular version) and tolerance class 2 with lower limit deviations for the position of the test plane (for the short version) are provided in this document.
