Abstract

This standard specifies both basic and supplementary requirements for plastics pipes and multilayer pipes with a barrier layer, that are intended for use in surface embedded hot water heating systems and radiator connecting systems and are made of: - polypropylene (PP) according to DIN EN ISO 15874-1, DIN EN ISO 15874-2, DIN EN ISO 15874-3 and DIN EN ISO 15874-5, - cross-linked polyethylene (PE-X) according to DIN EN ISO 15875-1, DIN EN ISO 15875-2, DIN EN ISO 15875-3 and DIN EN ISO 15875-5, - polybutene (PB) according to DIN EN ISO 15876-1, DIN EN ISO 15876-2, DIN EN ISO 15876-3 and DIN EN ISO 15876-5, - polyethylene of raised temperature resistance(PE-RT) according to DIN EN ISO 22391-1, DIN EN ISO 22391-2, DIN EN ISO 22391-3 and DIN EN ISO 22391-5, or - multilayer pipes for use in hot and cold water installationsaccording to DIN EN ISO 21003-1, DIN EN ISO 21003-2, DIN EN ISO 21003-3 and DIN EN ISO 21003-5.
