Abstract
Part 2 sets the requirements for the activities which have to be carried out during the realisation phase of electrical/electronic/programmable electronic safety-related systems. This starts after specifying the requirement for the system (part 1). This part 2 concentrates on system and hardware aspects; software is described in part 3.
