Abstract

International Standard ISO 17631 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 8, Ships and marine technolgy, Subcommittee SC 1, Lifesaving and fire protection. It is intended to supplement International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements and recommendations for arrangement of shipboard plans used on commercial vessels complying with the International Convention for the Safety of Life and Sea (SOLAS), 1974, as amended.
