Abstract

This topic has been submitted as a request for the development of a DIN SPEC according to the PAS procedure. The application is currently being examined. DIN SPECs in accordance with the PAS procedure are developed within workshops set up on a temporary basis. This document will be developed and approved by the authors who will approve the business plan. This DIN SPEC (PAS) defines service categories and their content (services) for cold, heat and sound insulation in connection with industrial process engineering systems. In this context, this DIN SPEC deals with the erection, dismantling and reassembly of cold, heat and sound insulation. The aforementioned service categories and their service contents are used as a basis for the description and evaluation of service items in standard service specifications. In this context, this DIN SPEC covers service categories for industrial plants in the field and at industrial sites. The services content defined in this DIN SPEC does not correspond to that of the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and does not provide assistance in phrasing texts for specifying construction work (whether this involves buildings, underground construction work, highway engineering, hydraulic construction work or other civil engineering work) that is dealt with in the Standardleistungsbuch für Bau (STLB-Bau - German library of specification texts for standard construction works) and in the Standardleistungsbuch für Zeitarbeitsverträge (STLB-BauZ - German library of specification texts for regularly occurring building maintenance services.)
