Abstract

This document specifies requirements for non-sterile, single-use graduated flow regulators used as subcomponents in sterilized infusion sets for single use to control the flow of intravenous infusion solutions with fluid contact under gravity feed conditions. The responsible national standardization body is the working committee NA 176-04-03 AA "Transfusion-/ infusion containers and devices made of plastics and disposable sample containers for in-vitro diagnostics" in the DIN Standards Committee for Healthcare Technologies (NAGesuTech).
