Abstract

These guidelines are based on the assumption that monitoring environmental and food quality and the protection of human health are inseparable. This document provides guidance on the environmental characterization needed for the prospective and/or retrospective dose assessment of public exposure and guidance to collect data needed for the assessment of human exposure.
