Ladders - Part 5: Accessories for ladders
Abstract
This European Standard defines terms and specifies characteristics, requirements and test methods for ladder accessories. It applies to accessories for portable ladders in accordance with EN 131 parts 1, 2, 3 and 4, it does not apply to ladders for specific professional uses such as fire-brigade ladders, roof ladders and mobile ladders. This part of EN 131 does not also apply to portable ladder's replaceable spare parts (foot, joint, hooks, etc.).
