Abstract
This document provides guidelines for designers, installers, manufacturers, building owners and users in particular for ventilation and air conditioning systems in order to create a comfortable and healthy indoor climate in all seasons at acceptable installation and operating costs. The standard focuses on the system-related aspects of typical applications and covers the following: - aspects for achieving and maintaining good energy efficiency of the systems without adversely affecting the quality of the indoor environment; - definitions of design criteria and system performance.
