This generic standard in combination with the detail standards applies for battery charging and analyzing. This generic standard includes the general rules, requirements and tests, which apply for the respective equipment. It includes requirements and provisions that are valid for all types of equipment according to the series VG 96965, as well as general procedures, matters of liability, patent law, etc.
