Abstract

This draft deals with the safety of electric fans for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances. This final draft of the planned update of the standard covers in particular new requirements for ceiling fans. The size of celing fans is increasing, especially in Asia.
