This committee is responsible for the development of standards in the field of the determination of elemental contents in petroleum products and lubricants, for example by means of atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) and emission spectral analysis (e. g. ICP-OES). It is the German mirror committee to CEN/TC 19/WG 27 and ISO/TC 28/WG 24.
