Sound reduction and sound absorption; Measurement and evaluation

The working committee NA 062-02-31 AA "Sound insulation and sound absorption, measurement and evaluation" of the DIN Standards Committee for Materials Testing (NMP) develops national, European and international standards for the measurement and evaluation of sound insulation and sound absorption as well as other acoustic characteristics of rooms and materials. This includes the national mirroring of the thematically relevant working groups in CEN/TC 126 "Acoustic properties of building elements and of buildings" as well as the national mirroring of ISO/TC 43/SC 2 "Building acoustics" and its thematically relevant working groups.
