The SAG supports CEN and CENELEC in exploring the need for European standardization on Healthcare Standards within CEN and CENELEC, and advises the CEN and CENELEC Technical Boards on how to tackle this subject. It ensures interaction among all relevant stakeholders interested in potential standardization on Healthcare Standards. The existence of the SAG does not prevent a CEN and/or CENELEC Member to submit a proposal for a new field of activity on Healthcare Standards.
