Radionuclide laboratories

NA 062-07-63 AA has the task of specifing requirements for the design of radionuclide laboratories taking into account the legal and trade association regulations, in particular the provisions of the Radiation Protection Act (StrlSchV), the building regulations, the Safety at Work Act, the accident prevention regulations and the Hazardous Substances Ordinance. These rules are intended to serve the planner, the builder, the operator, the expert and the authority as a guideline for the construction of radionuclide laboratories and the functionally related special rooms. Personal protection, fire protection, and also decontaminability are addressed. Rules for the design of radionuclide fume hoods are also part of the working committee's remit.
