Overview

This standard specifies ratios of proof pressure and minimum burst pressure to maximum working pressure for various categories of hose service. The procedures and test arrangements for carrying out the test and burst pressure tests are specified in ISO 1402. This document (EN ISO 7751:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies" the secretariat of which is held by BSI. The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 045-02-12 AA "Gummi- und Kunststoffschläuche sowie Schlauchleitungen" ("Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies") at DIN Standards Committee Elastomer Technology (NET).
