This standard applies to wood paving as flooring, for example in places of assembly and in residential areas as well as flooring in workrooms and for commercial and industrial purposes with vehicle and forklift traffic. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 042-01-17 AA "Fußböden und Treppen" ("Timber in flooring and stairs") at DIN Standards Committee Timber and Furniture (NHM).
