This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-63 AA "Gebrauchtöluntersuchung" ("Analysis of used oils") at Technical Committee "Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM)" ("Standardization of mineral oils and combustible materials") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document specifies the sampling of lubricating oils from internal combustion engines with circulating lubrication in vehicles, generator sets, engine test benches, rail vehicles and large engines.
