Overview

This standard is applicable for measurement of multimode fused silica optical fiber for power and image transmission in the spectral range from 180 nm to 380 nm. The purpose of this standard is to define an uniform method for determination of solarization in fused silica optical fibe. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 027-01-16 AA "Faseroptik" ("Fibre optics") at NAFuO.
