DIN EN 61069-8
Industrial-process measurement, control and automation - Evaluation of system properties for the purpose of system assessment - Part 8: Assessment of other system properties (IEC 61069-8:2016); German version EN 61069-8:2016

Title (German)

Leittechnik für industrielle Prozesse - Ermittlung der Systemeigenschaften zum Zweck der Eignungsbeurteilung eines Systems - Teil 8: Auswertung anderer Systemeigenschaften (IEC 61069-8:2016); Deutsche Fassung EN 61069-8:2016

Overview

This part of IEC 61069 covers the method that should be used for suitability assessment of other system properties of basic control systems (BCS). Suitability assessment of a system is an assessment based on the verification that a system is suitable for a specific task or class of tasks. In order to obtain a complete verification (for example, under all influencing factors), a complete determination of all system properties relevant to the specific task or class of tasks is required. The responsible committee is DKE/K 931 "Systemaspekte" ("System aspects") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
