This document has been prepared by experts of the Working Committee NA 131-03-01 AA "Verbindungselemente (Spiegelausschuss zu ISO/TC 20/SC 4", Fachbereich Mechanik ("Aerospace fasteners (mirror committee to ISO/TC 20/SC 4)"), Section Mechanics at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). This standard applies to bolts for testing locking torques according to DIN 65349 for self-locking and bolt-locking nuts and similar connecting parts with MJ threads according to DIN ISO 5855-1 and DIN ISO 5855-2. Bolts according to this standard are to be used for qualification and acceptance testing of the aforementioned parts if reference is made to this standard in standards or other documents. The test bolts can be used by the manufacturer of the nuts or threaded parts and by the user for testing the locking torques.
