Overview

With the introduction of intelligent traffic functions, information from traffic signs along the road being travelled can also be continuously displayed in the vehicle. This can improve road safety and traffic flow. This Technical Specification defines basic requirements for the data exchange of external road and traffic-related data for in-vehicle display. Users of this standard are primarily manufacturers for technologies in the infrastructure sector as well as vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.
