DIN 28082-2
Skirts for apparatus - Part 2: Bottom ring with bracket supports or twin ring with webs
Standzargen für Apparate - Teil 2: Fußring mit Doppelring und Stegen oder mit Ankerkonsole
Overview
This document has been prepared at DIN Standards Committee Chemical Apparatus Engineering (FNCA). This standard applies to skirts with bottom ring with twin ring and webs or with anchor bracket that are welded to upright apparatus with convex bottoms (for example: according to DIN 28011 or DIN 28013). These skirts are mainly used on apparatus with additional stresses such as wind, earthquake acceleration or pipeline forces. The most important changes to DIN 28082-1:1994-07 relate to the deletion of Table 2 "Minimum yield strengths for anchor bolts according to DIN 18800-1" and the inclusion of the new clauses "Connection lug for grounding and equipotential bonding" and "Welding". The designation has been changed. The verification of load-bearing capacity is not part of this standard. Committee NA 012-00-01 AA "Anlagenteile" ("Process equipment") of the Standards Committee Chemical Apparatus (FNCA) at DIN is responsible for this standard. Skirts for apparatus in simple bottom ring design are specified in DIN 28082-1. These skirts are intended for lower additional stresses.
