Rubber or plastics hoses and hose assemblies - Hydraulic-pressure impulse test without flexing (ISO 6803:2017); German version EN ISO 6803:2017

Title (German)

Gummi- oder Kunststoffschläuche und -schlauchleitungen - Hydraulik-Druck-Impulsprüfung ohne Biegung (ISO 6803:2017); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 6803:2017

Overview

This test standard describes two categories of pressure impulse tests without flexing for rubber and plastic hydraulic hoses and hose assemblies. Category 1 is a high pressure test for test pressures greater than 3 MPa and Category 2 is for test pressures from 1.5 to 3 MPa. This test is applicable to hydraulic hose assemblies that are subjected to pulsating pressure during operation and which are within the product requirements. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 045-02-12 AA "Gummi- und Kunststoffschläuche sowie Schlauchleitungen" ("Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies") at DIN Standards Committee Elastomer Technology (NET).
