Overview
EN 50128:2011 has been in use since 2011. The purpose of this Supplement is to explain a possible solution for some problems identified in the application of EN 50128. This supplement contains references to EN 50128. Knowledge of the referenced parts of EN 50128 is assumed for understanding this Supplement. For migration to EN 50128:2011 it is recommended that the required changes/extensions based on the existing process be identified and then, based on this analysis, to decide upon how to incorporate the changed/new requirements of EN 50128:2011 into the existing process. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 351.3 "Bahn-Signalanlagen" ("Signalling systems for railways") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
