DIN 69002-1
Machine tools - Stub spindles - Part 1: General, description, basic principles

Title (German)

Werkzeugmaschinen - Kurzspindeln - Teil 1: Allgemeines, Beschreibung, Grundlagen

Overview

DIN 69002-1 specifies dimensions and other technical data for short spindles used in single-spindle or multi-spindle machining units as work spindles for the use of cooling lubricant, minimum quantity lubrication or for dry machining. DIN 69002-1 describes and illustrates the different types of short spindles, as well as the basic principles of design, calculation and dimensioning of the spindles. The specifications in this standard enable the manufacture of uniform components of consistent quality, which allow easy interchangeability between different manufacturers, thus enabling cost savings to be made and supply bottlenecks to be circumvented.
