Geotechnische Erkundung und Untersuchung - Felduntersuchungen - Teil 15: Aufzeichnung der Bohrparameter (ISO 22476-15:2016); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 22476-15:2016
Overview
This standard deals with the technical principles for requirements on measuring equipment, performance and logging for the procedure of measurement during drilling as part of geotechnical exploration and investigation according to EN 1997-1 and EN 1997-2. The measured, calculated and derived drilling parameters (for example, depth, penetration velocity, drilling pressure, torque, rotational speed, mud pressure, mud flow, vibration, penetration resistance, soil-rock resistance) can provide useful data on the lithology of the soil layers for a reliable geotechnical model, on their density or weathering, on the location of pores or faults in the soil, on rock depth and on other properties such as permeability. This standard describes the procedure for recording (measuring as a function of depth) the drilling parameters and how to record them for a soil description. This applies to natural soils, treated or untreated backfills, and soft and hard rock either onshore or offshore. The responsible German committee for this standard is NA 005-05-11 AA "Bohr- und Entnahmeverfahren, Grundwassermessungen (SpA zu CEN/TC 341/WG 1 und ISO/TC 182/WG 4)" ("Drilling and sampling methods; Groundwater measurements (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 341/WG 1 and ISO/TC 182/WG 4)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
