DIN EN ISO 9969
Thermoplastics pipes - Determination of ring stiffness (ISO 9969:2016); German version EN ISO 9969:2016

Title (German)

Thermoplastische Rohre - Bestimmung der Ringsteifigkeit (ISO 9969:2016); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 9969:2016

Overview

DIN EN ISO 9969 specifies a test method for determining the ring stiffness of thermoplastics pipes having a circular cross section. The standard is addressed to manufacturers, installers and testing facilities. In particular, it covers aspects of quality and product safety. The standard is the result of the revision of DIN EN ISO 9969 from 2008. The International Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 138 "Plastics pipes, fittings and valves for the transport of fluids" (secretariat: JISC, Japan) and adopted as EN ISO 9969 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 "Plastics piping systems and ducting systems" (secretariat: NEN, Netherlands). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 054-05-02 AA "Prüfverfahren für Rohre" ("Test methods for pipes") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
