Spiralschläuche aus thermoplastischem Polyurethan (TPU) mit Stahldrahtverstärkung für Granulate und pulverförmige Stoffe - Anforderungen
Overview
This standard specifies requirements for spiral hoses made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with steel wire reinforcement and corrugated outer contour used for conveying granulated and powdered materials, dusts and bulk materials. Temperature range and pressure specifications are given in 5.3 and 7.4 and 7.5. This standard does not apply to - hoses formed into compressed air spirals from smooth hoses (DIN 74323); - hoses used in the food and pharmaceutical industries; - hoses used in medical technology; - hoses manufactured as so-called smooth hoses (extruded) without inserts; - thermoplastic, multi-layer (non-vulcanized) hoses (DIN EN 13765 and DIN EN 13766); - rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies for liquid or gaseous chemicals (DIN EN 12115). This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 104-02-01 AA "Schlauchleitungen" ("Hose assemblies") at DIN Standards Committee Tank Installations (NATank).
